Rimrock Fathers Day Campout - June 2008

Went to Rimrock this weekend to spend it wheeling and riding with famly and good friends.

Started out braking my drivers side mirror on my truckleaving town later that planned and getting to camp right at dark. Had to set up camp in the dark with headlights, well wasn't that bad for me for all i had to was level out my truck and camper, but the kids set up in the headlights of the jeep's.

All right here are some pic. (dont have the one of me beeing towed out of the mud, frank has them on his camera and i forgot to download them from him before we split ways, but will get them and add them later)

Then the unthinkable happened...
I broke a ball joint only a quarter mile from the trail head on the way out.......

We got back to camp after being stuck on the trail for 6 hours. I called some friends that were coming up that evening to bring parts to fix the Barbie Jeep. I got it fixed and ready for wheeling the next day with the help or Frank and Del.

Thanks guys i would have been screwed with you.......

And last but not least here is me toasting to my sons Birthday with my best friend Jason.

Looks like all went pretty good. A few misshaps are bound to happen. Sometimes they can make the day though. :scratch:
