It was a great time had by all. There was around 400 ATV riders in attendance and probably 30 of those being side by sides (UTV). It was very muggy and rained off and on but not enough to help with the dust that was horrible for the middle of the pack. The run cost 15 dollars for your entry and included your poker punch card and a T-shirt. I purchased a few extra hands but to no luck got skunked on all of them. This run left from Oak Creek feed station and followed green dot roads accross until entering the forest service land be there gravel roads and marked trails which I falled to get most trail numbers but some were, 666,652, 651. I t is hard to take action pics when you are riding but I got a few.
First thing at 7am in the morning I see the PUO crew on my way in.

To get in the front of the dust cloud you needed to get in line early.

I rode the wife 06' Wolverine due to the rocky green dots coming out of the feed station hoping for a smoother ride but my tailbone is telling me other wise.

The law was out in full effect from YSO, to the forest service, fish and game, and search and rescue.

That was a cool saw mount on the front. :headbang:
The line up started around 7:45am for the 9am departure. We recieved a drivers meeting from the Chinook Lions Clubs that sponsored the run along with each law agency voicing there concerns before we headed out.

The fourth check point at the entrance to Bear Lake was a great resting spot and either a by-pass turn around for the 2 wheelers and kids or up the loose short climb that scared most riders :dontknow:

This was a great ride for all it followed with awards for poker hands and a great raffle for me. It was a good ride for the whole family there was a 18 month old that rode double with dad the whole ride 49 miles. Then small kids on 50cc being troopers one 2 1/2 yr old rode the full 50 on his little suzuki that was one tough kid.
It was imperative to be award in the parking lot with 400 quads coming in for the day. We witnessed a guy loading his polaris in the back of a Chevy Colorado slam full force in to the back of the cab and window instead of asking for help. But the main attraction was a gentleman that spun a circle 2 ft from the ORV YSO truck he was stopped infront of everyone and then arrested when refusing a sobriety test. Just shows be cautious. I hope that PUO out has action pics from his big group and a story on the 10 plugs in the razr sidewall. See everyone there next year.
