On January 16th, 2010 Eastern Washington Off Road (http://easternwashingtonadventures.com) members meet at the Club House in Selah and convoyed to the Wenas Wildlife Area.

On Tibbling Road just North of my house you can see the Wenas Wildlife area.

We took South Wenas Road out then over to the end of the pavement on North Wenas Road where we aired down.

Just up the road we turned up W6000.

Once we hit Durr Road we headed back up and ran Rosa Creek Road and up Buffalo Ridge Road.

We stopped at the end of Buffalo Ridge Road to take a picture before turning around.

I am using a Garmin nivi 205 with State Land software. The software for the map above is Garmin TOPO U.S. 24K west which I use to get the GPS track on the PC. I have not loaded yet on the Garmin because I am afraid it will over ride the State Land software which it very hard to get. I am still new at this GPS thing. It sure it cool though.

I can not see a way to pull the State Land map off the GPS to my PC to back it up.

guess i am not following you, the nuvi comes loaded with a base map and city map. to have the state land mapping it had to be added either to internal memory or a card. did you add the mapping or did you get it somewhere else already done for you. you may already have a micro sd card in there with the mapping if it was done for you.

So far for the most part it has been right on the State Land roads. So you can follow me until I leave the State Land.
