On Sunday March 7th, 2010 the Spanaway Moonshiners had their 4x4 Swapmeet in Puyallup, WA.

Ron Dunn with 4WheelingPlus.com sponsored the ORV education booth again. Thanks Ron!

Too bad I didn't know anyone other than Ceg from this forum, would have at least said Hi.

That place was a madhouse. I walked out of there with only the calendar I got for donating to trail-watch. Almost bought one of those Hi-Lift Jacks from 4WheelParts and still wish I would have.

Afterward I drove out to Pacific WA, where I was going to buy a set of JK Rubicon tires and rims for a good price. Passed up that deal only because I saw how a true Mud tire wears, and I don't feel that I do enough severe off-roading to warrant a MT. My Jeep is still my daily driver.

Ended up ordering new Nitto Terra Grapplers (33"), 17" Cragar Soft 8's, and a Superchips Programmer on Monday.

Honestly, I would have liked to spent more time in the parking lot at the swapmeet just looking at other people's rigs. (Didn't want to look like a thief though). Lots of cool vehicles in the parking lot.

It was great to meet you.

Some of the rigs in the parking lot made me laugh. It was not the stock ones that looked funny. It was the rigs with giant bling rims and low profile MT tread. Then the want to be monster trucks were out everywhere.

That 4WP buggy is one ugly over-the-top son of a gun! I saw the spread on it in Off Road Adventures and was thinking they'd lost their minds. Great parts, it's just that the style is so desperate to be wicked that it totally takes it the other way IMHO.

Screamin'

Oh, and those wheels on it are totally gross!

I agree screamin, any rig with airbrushed lightning bolts on the bead lock rings, does not get wheeled, it might as well be a yugo, what a waste of cool parts :sad11:
