Canyon Crawling Near Hover - June 12 2011

Hi guys, a bunch of us met at hover park for some off road fun and I thought I would share some pics, heres a few of us at the parking lot.

We played around by the irrigation run off ditch for a bit but theres not much to challenge the built rigs here,

So we headed up the hill,

Theres some pretty good spots in this one to break your stuff, we had some breakage in the group and one rollover but I did not get pics of that, but everyone was able to drive back to the trailers. As we got to the top the sami guys showed up,

Then Mike arrived in his almost finished racer buggy for some more testing, This thing is nice.

This is jeremys truck, He preformed the rollover trick but you would never know by looking at his truck, No worries, it'll buff out.

by this time the group had got pretty large,

And three more rigs showed up after I took this pic. Everyone crawled in the canyons that best suited their rigs and had lots of fun. Dave showed up late so we finished the day wheeling and riding dirt bikes in my backyard,

I just redid my 4x4 area with a backhoe and we did our best to make some trails but both needed the winch after failed attempts. I love being able to wheel in my own yard. Overall an outstanding day. I hope you enjoy the pics. Mike M

Can't believe this thing still has a body, remember when it was a stock truck.

Yeah, When I first met him it still looked like a toyota. It seems to go just about anywhere he wants it too. The sticky competition iroks he has are the softest tires I have ever seen. Watching him wheel it makes me want turning brakes and a rear driveline disconnect. Good stuff right there.

That was a fun day,met some new people and saw some I haven't in a while. Hey Mike the CJ-7 in your sig line is a 77 not a 76....LOL
